Protoplast, founded in 1990, is a team of three Swiss artists generating artefacts.
Protoplast has presented their works internationally at various museums, galleries and art institutions including Kunsthalle Basel, ACC Galerie Weimar, Kunst Raum Riehen, Kunsthalle St.Gallen, Gallery Guillaume Daeppen, Neue Galerie & Joanneum Graz, Kunstfest Kulturhauptstadt Europas Weimar 1999, installations at seven public places in Weimar, Universitätsbibliothek Basel, Galerie Littmann Basel, Museum für Gestaltung Zürich, Galerie Apropos Luzern, Centre Pasquart Bienne, Städtische Galerie Böblingen, Kunsthaus Langenthal and Kaskadenkondensator Basel.
