Kohtz, b. 1983 lives and works in Winterthur. He was trained as a stone sculptor and had further artistic training at the ZMK in Winterthur. Study visits for painting and printmaking in Italy. Pascal Kohtz's work moves along the discussion of what constitutes art and sculpture, and what role they play in today's world, starting from the idea of childlike play and curiosity, observation, and an eye for the seemingly incidental.
